Information on each of the Golf Course

Royal County Down Golf Club
36 Golf Links Road, Newcastle, Co. Down

Quite simply, one of the best courses in the world. Its virtues have been extolled by many great players including Tom Watson, Gary Player and Christy O'Connor. Set in idyllic surroundings at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, the course carves its way through majestic gorse covered sand dunes.
Anyone with a love of golf should play Royal County Down
at least once in a lifetime.

Downpatrick Golf Club
43 Saul Road, Downpatrick, Co. Down
Telephone 028 4461 2152

With the acquisition of new land and considerable re-designing, Downpatrick can now take its place among the best courses in the country. There are some classic Par 4's which require long straight hitting, while the Par 3 eleventh, guarded by water ranks with the best short holes in Ireland.

Ardglass Golf Club
Castle Place, Ardglass, Co. Down
Telephone 028 4484 12191, 028 4484 1022

Ardglass Golf Course, with its championship standard greens, is always in excellent condition. The first four holes, with sea and cliffs tight to the left should be treated with great respect, as
anything resembling a hook will meet with disaster. Some of the
views from the course are quite breathtaking.

Spa Golf Club
20 Grove Road, Ballynahinch, Co. Down
Telephone 028 9756 2365

The "Spa", sited on undulating ground at the Ballynahinch end of the Grove Road, nestles amid the famous Co Down Drumlins. It is greatly admired as a highly competitive 6531 yard, par 72 course and has the potential to become one of the finest tests of golf in the country.
