| Tournament Dates Monday 13th August 2012 Free Practice Round of Golf available to all competitors from outside Northern Ireland at Ardglass, Downpatrick or Spa Golf Courses. (Contact Golf Clubs first to arrange tee off times) Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th, Thursday 16th August 2012 Heart of Down Golf Tournament competition days at Ardglass, Downpatrick and Spa Golf Courses. Friday 17th August 2011 148 Competitors from outside Northern Ireland play at the world famous Royal County Down Championship Course. (See Condition 5) |

Tournament Conditions 1. The tournament is open to male and female golfers who are members of an affiliated golf club and hold and official handicap, players will have to produce handicap certificates on the first day of the tournament.
2. Play will be 54 holes over three days.
3. Play will be four ball singles scored on stableford points.
4. Draw times will only be confirmed upon payment of entry fee.
5. On the 1st September and on the 1st of each month until August we will draw 7 names fromthose entered. (12 months at 7 players totalling 84places). Names drawn will be guaranteed a place on Friday's visitors day, all other visitors can qualify through play in the Heart of Down.
6. If a player wishes to cancel their entry they will be entitled to a 80% refund if we are told in writing by the 1st July, 50% if before 31st July and please note that no refund will be made available after the 31st July.
7. Change of name must be made in writing to office@posnettgolf.com. If a name changed, place at Royal County Down will be lost and go on the waiting list.
8. All players must be over 18 years on the 1st day of the tournament.
9. The tournament committee reserves the right to alter the tournament conditions at any time, without recourse to the players.
