1. The tournament is open to male and female golfers who are members of an affiliated golf club and hold and official handicap, players will have to produce handicap certificates on the first day of the tournament.
2. Play will be 54 holes over three days.
3. Play will be four ball singles scored on stableford points.
4. Draw times will only be confirmed upon payment of entry fee.
5. Draw times will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If all spaces are allocated prior to closing date a waiting list will be implimented. Visitor’s Day, Royal County Down (13th August 2010) the first 74 places will be a draw from all visitor entries received before the 1st February 2010 (draw will be available live here on Monday 15th February 2010). The next 74 places will go to those visitors highest placed in the Heart of Down Golf Tournament not already guaranteed a place.
6. If a player wishes to cancel their entry they will be entitled to a 80% refund if we are told in writing by the 1st July 2010, 50% if before 31st July 2010 and please note that no refund will be made available after the 31st July 2010.
7. Change of name must be made in writing to office@posnettgolf.com and will incur a fee of £10.00 if made after 1st July 2010. If a name changed, place at Royal County Down will be lost and go on the waiting list.
8. All players must be over 18 years on Friday 30th July 2010.
9. The closing date for all entries is Friday 30th July 2010. Late entries will be taken after the closing date at a further fee of £10.00 up to Thursday 5th August 2010.
10. The tournament committee reserves the right to alter the tournament conditions at any time, without recourse to the players.
