As we move forward into a new season we at Posnett Golf are launching some of our established tournaments and some new ones with variety being the watch word. In 2009 we will see the return of the multi venue events in the Armagh & Down and the Heart of Down golf tournaments. We also welcome back many of our Corporate customers and we very much look forward to welcoming back many old friends and meeting new ones in the coming season. The Belfast Telegraph Company Golf Challenge is in the final stages of planning for 2009 we have great new venues for the qualifying events in The Faldo Course at the Lough Erne Resort and the famous Royal Portrush Dunluce Championship course. The Belfast qualifying will take place at the home of our great supporters Malone Golf Club. Unfortunately all hinges on finding a new title sponsor if there is anyone out there who would like to take up the baton give us a call. This international tournament now in its 10th year is played over three local courses: Ardglass Golf Club, Donaghadee Golf Club and the world famous Royal County Down Golf Club, home of the 2007 Walker Cup. The competition is open to all male and female golfers who are members of an affiliated club. | Heart of Down The Heart of Down Golf Tournament combines superb natural beauty with some of the finest golfing country and of course, it’s always a pleasure to visit Down District and once more enjoy the friendliness of the people, the breathtaking scenery, traditional Irish music, ancient Celtic heritage and above all the delights of the excellent golf courses. | ||
